BRIEF: Design a product that responds to the theme of ‘performance’. Introducing a sustainable composite, ‘liquid wood’, to Puma; to demonstrate how wood and plastic can perform differently to sustain the future of material. Designing multi-functional joints, which promote sustainability in-store and at events. The versatile pieces connect together to enable a diversity of spatial retail propositions. ­The top, bottom and side openings allow the structure to build height, length and width. The side ribs allow the joint to interweave, giving a tighter fit and more surface area. On the other hand, the joint can be place further along the pole creating railing and hanging space.
